Introducing Tennille, the sweet vocalist from New York.

Label mates with The Cool Kids at C.A.K.E Recordings, 10iller as she is also known, featured on the track 'Jump Rope' (a classic), which was on the Gone Fishing mixtape released in 2009.

This fresh talent can hold her own as an MC and she also sings, adding a sweet melodic sound to whatever track she features on.

2011 looks set to be a good year for this multitalented songstress, check out her latest work 10illmatic/10FDoom - a combination of Nas and MF Doom beats on this ten track cd.

The mixtape features collaborations with the likes of, Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids and Pac Div's Like & Mibbs.

The Cool Kids have been off the radar for a while sorting out their record label situation but it looks like the boys are back.

The Ellington is very similar to the Gourmet-Precinct 5 callabo I blogged about back in August.

Mickey Factz

Mickey Factz is an American rapper from the Black Apple, New York.

He has been in the music game for a while but is yet to drop an album. However, he has been grinding, releasing a series of hot mixtapes for the past few years and he is now starting to get the recognition he deserves.

The Factz of Life was released earlier this year and the New Yorker also featured on a nice DJ Zee mixtape-Hipster City released back in 2009 which features Chicago's The Cool Kids and Thriftstore.

Mickey's latest offering, I'm Better Than You was released in September this year. It's hosted by DJ Enuff of Hot 97 and features some real GOOD music. Artist such as Bun B, Fat Joe and B.o.B all feature.

Be sure to check it out and look out for his debut album The Achievement which is set to drop early 2011.

Runaway feat.Pusha T

Check out Kanye's latest video from his up-and-coming album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy which is due to drop next month.

The video contains some ballet dancers and the man himself features playing a white keyboard. Pusha-T's on the track but he doesn't appear.

I'm digging the loafers!!!

Mos signs with G.O.O.D Music

Black Dante' aka Mos Def is now a member of the G.O.O.D Music family.

The label already includes the amazing talents of (founder) Kanye West, Common, Pusha-T of The Clipse, John Legend, Consequence, Mr Hudson and many others.

Although Mos' latest album, The Ecstatic was a great piece of work, there wasn't much hype around it. Having already worked with Kanye on 'Two Words' from 2004's The College Dropout and 'Drunk and Hot Girls' from 2007's Graduation, the two know how to create heat.

I'm eagerly anticipating the release of Kanye's next album which is due to drop later this year and now Mos Def is on a label which includes such an array of talented people, his next album should contain a lot of GOOD music and is sure to be classic.

Lil P-Nut update

Lil P-Nut is back everyone. The 7-year-old was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and as well as talking to the host, he also wowed the crowd with a performance.

Left-back FANTASTIC

I need to get this out as it's been bugging me for some time. If you didn't know already, I'm a Chelsea fan and I've been very impressed by the start the Blues have made to this Premier League campaign. With just five league games played, Chelsea have scored 21 goals...that's an impressive stat right there.

For me though, there have been two outstanding performers. The Ghanaian machine that's Michael Essien - who has been immense in the midfield so far and the guy everybody (apart from Chelsea fans) love to hate, Ashley Cole. The latter, is England's left back and I don't think I'm alone when I say that he is currently the best player in his position.

Cole was a member of the 'unsuccessful' England World Cup squad in the summer and he was for me, team's best performer. He played in all four of England's games and gave a good account of himself, bombing down the left flank whenever he saw an opportunity.

Before the start of this season, there was speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid but that never materialised. For some years now the 29-year-old has been getting a lot of unnecessary abuse from supporters whenever Chelsea play away from home. However, the abuse he receives from fans seems to have no affect on the players performance. Instead, it seems like he fuels himself off it.

Personally, I think he is underrated which for me is a consequence of his private life. He was married to X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole (notice how she's kept the surname Cole) but for whatever reason, the two divorced earlier in September.

Despite all this drama in his private life and the torrent abuse he receives every other week, Ashley Cole continues to perform at a high level which makes him an essential member of the Chelsea team and one of the most consistent performers in the Premier League right now.

It's only right to give credit where credit's due and right now, Ashley Cole deserves credit by the boat load.

P-Nut

Check out this 7-year-old rapper, P-Nut from Memphis with his throwback jheri curl looking like any West Coast rapper back in the 90's.

The little dude's got serious talent, he blew me away. After actually hearing him rap and then hearing him speak, I was like pleasantly surprised.

He speaks so articulately and I love his message to the kids, "stay in school...pay attention to your teachers." That's some real talk right there and the guy's only 7-years-old.

Mesut Oezil

My first sport blog post was about Mesut Oezil who had an amazing World Cup. After such a successful tournament it seemed like it was only a matter of time until the 21-year-old moved away from Werder Bremen. Clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona were all linked with the creative midfielder but on August 18th, Real Madrid announced they had signed him.

Oezil joins his fellow countryman Sami Khedira at the Bearnabeu and the two look set to make waves in La Liga this season under the new 'Number One', Jose Mourinho.

As a Chelsea fan, I'm slightly disappointed we didn't secure the services of Oezil after being closely linked to the player but I wish the kid luck and success at Real Madrid.

Gourmet and Precinct 5 callabo

Italian and American inspired premium brand Gourmet hook up with Dutch based Precinct 5 and come up with these joints.

The Cinque range normally comes in leather so the suede is a new look but I think it works and the colours complement each other very well.

Wellgosh are retailing at £100 a pair, which is reasonable as stock is very limited.

Tacklebox

Get familiar with Tacklebox, the latest mixtape from The Cool Kids.

Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish have a huge internet fan base and generate a lot of buzz using their Twitter and Facebook networks. Their second album, When Fish Ride Bicycles is due for release later on this year and if last years, Gone Fishing mixtape is anything to go by, this next album will not disappoint!

For me, Good Afternoon and Birthdays are the stand out tracks. The mixtape as a whole is a good listen and I think the collaboration with The LA Leakers is 'Just-N-Credible'.

I stumbled upon this video last night on MTV and was kinda taken aback. I saw girls wearing very little clothing and eating vast amounts of food in an almost pornographic manner...mega weird but I kept watching.

They say that you learn a lot about a girl from the way she eats...

The man behind this is 24-year-old Scottish producer Graeme Shepherd. Check out his MySpace if you're a fan of electrohouse.

Kanye's back!!!

Kanye West is back everybody!

After a short hiatus, Kanye made an appearance at this years BET Awards earlier in July. He performed a song titled 'Power' and I thought it was exactly that...powerful!!! And there was no sign of auto-tune, YES!

Chelsea Target Neymar

As I'm a Chelsea fan, this news excites me greatly…GEEK I know but I don't care.

Brazilian sensation Neymar could be on his way to London, West London to be precise, Chelsea.

This 18-year-old is something of a prodigy. Having played 84 games for his current club Santos in the Brazilian top-flight also known as Serie A, he has scored 42 goals. Quite an outstanding goal ratio.

It is reported that Chelsea have tabled an offer in the region of £20 million for the player but it looks like Santos are in no mood to negotiate.

Watch this space.

Dom Kennedy

Dom Kennedy is an up-and-coming artist from Los Angeles...Leimert Park, California to be exact.

He has a huge internet buzz but he's yet to break through into the mainstream. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until he does though. With four mixtapes to his name, Kennedy puts in the work and his latest offering, FROM THE WESTSIDE WITH LOVE contains some nice tracks.

Mesut Oezil

As Germany were sadly knocked out in the semi-finals of the World Cup at the hands of Spain, I thought it was only right to pay homage to one of their outstanding players, Mesut Oezil. Playing in Germany's 4-2-3-1 system just behind Klose, the 21-year-old has provided a creative spark for this young German side. The Werder Bremen midfielder has been in inspired form for Germany from the first game against Australia. Germany have scored 13 goals in this years tournament: Oezil scored one of them, a brilliant strike against Ghana in Germany's final group game. He has also contributed with three assists. Off the back of his brilliant run in the World Cup, he is being linked with many of Europe's top clubs.

After months of dilly-dallying, I have finally got round to creating a blog.

In my blog, I will post topics that are of interest to me, stuff relating to sport, music, fashion, politics and current affairs and just things I think are important.

I hope visitors to my blog enjoy viewing it and reading the posts.
